Osho on The Essence of Meditation

Osho says, in his book, 'Meditation, the first and last Freedom' "In fact, there are 112 methods of meditation. I have gone through all of those methods - not intellectually. It took me years to go through each method and to find out its very essence. And after going through one hundred twelve methods, I was amazed that the essence is witnessing; the methods' non-essentials are different, but the centre of each is witnessing." ~Osho

Be A Meditator- Meditation evaporates the EGO

"Meditation evaporates the ego.  When the ego evaporates, you feel uncertain.  That is why we resist meditation." ~Osho

Be A Meditator- Greeting For A happy Birthday 11 December

" Transform small things into celebration" ------ Osho "Only celebration can give proof that the real silence has happened' ------Osho                                                  When we are celebrating with heart and soul. We are in the present moment with sound, sensation and no thoughts. We are totally immersed in it. That's deep meditation. Keep celebrating.                                                                                            Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Thoughts during meditation settle slowly, slowly-----

People often say, " Whenever I sit for meditation, my mind is full of thoughts. I can't focus. They often ask, how can I reach a state when there will be no thoughts in my mind". On the line of thoughts of Osho, if we continue with the sincere meditational practice, slowly, slowly, slowly, slowly, very slowly,  minds will settle forever.                                                                                                                                                                                Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Grounding oneself to the present moment

Sometimes, when we are out in nature, we come across a beautiful flower. If we keep looking at the flower, after some time we find ourselves in a blissful state. What does the flower do? It helps us in grounding ourselves in the present and connecting to essential life vitality and universal love. It also detaches us from everything around us.                                                                                                                             " Look at the flower as if your whole existence depends on this look"~~~~~~ Osho                                                                                      Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator-Watch your breath-avoid mood swings

Whenever we are overpowered by emotions, then Osho says,  “Whenever you are overwhelmed by any emotions you lose all reason, you lose all sensitivity, you lose your heart in it. It becomes like a  dark cloud in which you are lost. Then whatever you do is going to be wrong.“ - Osho  But regular practice of meditation helps us remain equanimous, and we tend to make better decisions in our day-to-day life.                                                                                                                                                                                                              Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Focus on fire rising through your form

"Focus on fire", is taken from the "Osho- the book of secrets". Most of us want to get rid of our egos. Don't we? In the infographic, the artist shows the burning of ego and retention of self.  The ego is considered to exist in the head. If we focus on the process of breathing. When we exhale, space is created within. At that moment, we should close our eyes and enter within, and then when we inhale air (oxygen), energy is created. Imagine that this energy is burning the body.  Focus on fire rising from the toes upward to the head. Slowly there will be nothing. No ego too. Now, what we are left with is just ourselves.                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Go out and celebrate

Life is a celebration, According to Osho------ "Anything that makes you festive, anything that gives you celebration, anything that makes you dance and sing to such an extent that you  disappear in your dancing, in your singing, in your celebration." Life is a celebration. Always be on the lookout for the presence of wonder. You will find a reason to celebrate. At the heart of the celebration there is a child, go out and celebrate, and have a full day of laughter, dance and music. Celebrate all the happy times-- past and present. Keep Meditating

Meditate to Recognise Intuition and Channelise Imagination

Our subtle mind soars on the wings of intuition and imagination. That's true when we are just imagining,  how to do a certain project or making a beautiful image, and the mind is working on it. sometimes we also hear something which may be totally different from what we were planning. Is that intuition? Intuition is not thinking, it is knowledge beyond knowledge. It is receiving. meditate to recognise intuition and channelise imagination.                                                                                                                                                                                                         Keep Meditating

Hand Mudras and its affect

As most of us know that Mudras are symbols formed by uniting certain neurological reflex points which terminate on the surface of the hands. Mudra action begins at the subtle energy level, balances chakras, heals emotionally and acts on the physical body.                                                                                There are a large number of mudras. Some of the mudras are given in the infographs. Mudra should be held at least for 15 -45 minutes in a day's time.                                                                                                                                                        Keep Meditating
