Meditation Creates Inner Peace which Leads to better discussion to Resolve Differences

In today's world, there are attempts to stop fights, stop battles, and find peace. A number of meetings take place between people with opposite ideas and countries at war, with no solution. These wars and conflicts have been going on for years.  Is it possible to stop these wars? Yes, first we need inner peace, to come to an acceptable solution. Meditation helps in creating inner peace which leads to a better discussion, which finally helps in resolving differences.                                                                                                                                                                                                        Keep Meditating

Why Me ?

A Game to help hyperactive and energetic children become mindful.

One of the ways to make children connect with their breath is to include it in games. Simple everyday games may have a component of awareness. In that way, children understand the value of presence because it immediately enhances their performance. Here is an example.                           A game to help hyperactive and energetic children become mindful.         Have the players (kids of all ages ) stand on one leg, with their eyes closed. Notice that closing our eyes is one of the things we do when starting meditation. Now ask them to connect with their breath and stand for as long as possible on one leg. The person who stands the longest demonstrates presence with their body. The goal is to use competition as a means to help hyperactive and energetic children become mindful.         Meditate to become mindful.

Be A Meditator- I am a Meditative Warrior

We hear from so many people, " I tried to meditate. I meditated for a month or so, but I wasn't consistent and couldn't continue any longer". Yes, it's a case with many people. To successfully learn a skill or achieve a goal, a fire has to be lit within us. In the same way, to become a meditator one has to chase this goal too with utmost zeal.                                                                                                                                                                                                     Keep Meditating

Meditate before you change your plan

From time immemorial people have been going on pilgrimage walking on narrow, uphill trails, to reach their destinations. Then someday someone dreamt/ thought of an easier and faster way to cross their difficult and hazardous path. Dreams are the seeds of change, and then came ropeways. But many people still want to take an adventurous route. Also, there may be, someone stuck with a thought. Which is the safer mode to travel? The boat may get capsized or the ropeway may give away. Under such circumstances if we meditate before making a choice. The mind will calm down. all negative thoughts will disappear. Only the goal will be in focus. (In this infographic is reaching the glacier). The excitement of achieving the goal will be supreme.                                                                                                                                                                                 Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator--Meditation Will Deepen and Strengthen With Continuity

Be A Meditator-- Mindful meditation helps us in sticking up together

In the infographic, Binu and his sister Nalli say " We always believe in sticking up for others, who are being bullied, as we practice mindful meditation"  If meditation were introduced in schools it would solve the long-term emotional problem of bullies and bullied. Mindful meditation will help children to think peaceful thoughts all the time.                                                                Keep Meditating

Calmness Can Be Achieved Through Meditation During Adverse Conditions

With a lot of people, a panic attack sets in an adverse condition. But you may come across someone around you waiting patiently for things to settle down. Scientifically in this person, the adrenaline hormone has not been released as yet, when a panic attack is about to sets in. Meditate to control the release of adrenaline hormone, this will help in maintaining calmness during an adverse situation.                                                                  Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator--The Light of one, can give light to others

Be A Meditator--The Ungoverned Mind is the seed of Misery

Have you seen some children picking up things and throwing them or tearing pages of new books, or writing on the completed homework of their siblings?. It's a common sight in some of the houses. why do children do this? The child does not know what he is supposed to do. His mind is still not channelized.  The same thing happens with elders if their minds are ungoverned. They land up doing or saying weird things. Meditation can help in focusing and channelizing your thinking process.                                                                  Keep Meditating

Meditate To Calm Down

What do we do when we feel quite agitated or stressed? Find a quiet place and observe your breath.  Ana-Pana-Sati. All the agitation and stress will fly away like a fleeting cloud.                                                             Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator--Meditate To Release Pent up Emotions

Do you withhold emotional release? Withholding emotional release may place tremendous stress on the immune system. It is said that if the body suffers, it is seeking emotional release. It can be in the form of a soar throat, fever, stomach upset, also tears and anger. Meditation can help release pent-up emotions, thereby supporting the immune system.                                                                    Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator--Keep Meditating Mind Will Go Silent Some Day

A conversation between self and mind. With most people, thoughts start crossing their minds. We generally say let the thoughts come and go like a cloud. Do not get involved with it and start finding solutions during meditation.  But here is some meditator, whose mind is telling him that it will not be silent until his last breath. The meditator says how will you come to know which is your last breath. The mind has no answer to it and it goes silent. Do you have an answer to this question? Mind going silent is a difficult stage to achieve.                                                                   Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again

Buddha Jayanti, the birthday of Gautam Buddha is celebrated in India ( Bharat) on the full moon day of Vaishakh month, which generally falls in the month of May. Gautam Buddha was born into a princely family in the Shakya clan. The birthday of Gautam Buddha varies from nation to nation.                                 The Buddha also known as Siddhartha Gautam was a philosopher, mendicant, meditator, spiritual teacher, and religious leader who lived in ancient India. He is revered as the founder of the world religion of Buddhism. Can we meditate like Buddha? Maybe not, however,                                                                                                                                Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Do it with all your heart

Whatever you choose to do, do it with all your heart. If your heart is not in your task then the output would be meagre. If you look at it with input Vs output when you don't feel like doing it. The time consumed will be much larger than the ultimate achievement. Observe your breath to remain focused on the task at hand. Breathe, receive and relax.                                                                                                                                                                          Keep Meditating

Meditate to Replace complaints with Gratitude

Someone said complaining is a happiness block. It has been observed that constant complaining rewrites our brains to make more complaints in the future. Also complaining nature replaces the need to act.  So meditate to replace complaints with gratitude.                                                               Keep Meditating
