Letting go off Expectation means, Growing, Expanding, Moving into Balanced State

Just for supposition. Imagine a situation if Gautam Buddha had not left his kingdom and gone in search of the truth. Buddhism would have not grown so big and expanded through the continents. Similarly, when we open our shackles that are holding us back we will be able to grow and expand and reach a point when search continues but there is no disappointment. Meditation helps in letting go off the expectations and move into a balanced state.                                                                  Keep Meditating

Meditate to transcend Temporary Disappointments and Triumphs

Life is full of ups and downs, sometimes we are winning, reaching the heights of success. At that juncture, some of us start thinking that we are invincible. however, another time we are not able to meet our targets. That's when some of us start getting disappointed and go into depression.                                                      These triumphs and disappointments are temporary and external. If you have not won a medal this year, you may get it next year. Thus disappointment is temporary. So is the case with triumphs. But in the inner world, victory is doing our best. It is learning something new. It tests and develops our qualities such as patience, understanding, and perseverance. If our focus shifts to our inner qualities, then there is no defeat and no disappointment. Our attachment to external results leads to disappointments. But when we are well established in developing our qualities, we recognize that as perseverance improves, even the physical results will com

A Mindful Moment Before a Meal

A good way to introduce children to meditation is through games. Especially in the first seven years of their lives, children learn through imitation. If the adults are taking a minute to meditate, children will automatically start. Many families have a well-established practice of saying grace or thank you before taking a meal. Awareness can be included as part of this ritual as well.                                                                                                                                 Keep Meditating

Turning Darkness into Light

The quote is taken from a beautiful quote from a poem by Jane Roberts. The process of waking up, of gaining awareness of consciousness automatically leads to a faster diminishing of negative thoughts. We start to see the consequences of our thoughts with greater clarity once we begin meditation. With more balanced, wholesome thoughts, we naturally create better lives for ourselves.                                                                   Keep Meditating

When I snorkel in the sea !

The little girl says," When I snorkel in the sea. I admire the colourful sea life in quiet and in peace. I develop love and empathy for fish". In the same way in meditation too, when we are calm and in peace, love, happiness, and compassion grow.                                                                                                                                                                               keep Meditating

When the mind is silent and calm, Its peace spreads to everything and everyone.

All of us want peace around us, don't we? It is hard to embody and be the peace when we see so much suffering in the world. But peace and warmth can spread through the community just as ripples/ waves travel across the water when we drop a pebble into the pond. Meditation creates peace and makes the mind silent. So, when the mind is silent and calm,  like ripples in the pond, its peace is automatically transmitted to everything and everyone around. Meditation encourages us to connect with others.                                                                                                        Keep Meditating

WHY IS MY MIND SO RESTLESS?

Keep your attention on your practice ...

As we start meditation, we have a lot of expectations. like my memory will improve, and I will be more focused. My decisions will be in the right direction. My anger will disappear, and I will be at peace. However,  these behavioural changes take a lot of focused practice. Keep your attention on your practice and not on results or enlightenment.                                                                                                                                                                   Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- A sincere action accompanied with sincere meditation

A sincere action accompanied with sincere meditation will flourish and help us achieve our goals, easily and with excellence.                                                                                                                                                                                                      Keep Meditating

To Meditate Better Connect to The Rising Sun

Sunrise is a beautiful miracle of God that defeats darkness and spreads light. To meditate better connect to the rising sun which widens and deepens our inner wisdom, like the light of the rising sun.                         Keep Meditating

Cultivate awareness of blame and transform it into personal responsibility

Spiritual growth leads to long-term happiness and stability. When we blame others, we give up our own happiness. When we take responsibility, at least for what we can change, we become happier. The key thing is to catch ourselves when we are blaming others. With awareness, we automatically move towards more wholesome behaviours. Meditation can help cultivate awareness, which brings a lot of refinement in all areas of our lives. Meditate to build up awareness and also practice mindfulness of communication to move towards personal responsibility.

Spiritual Search is Like Jump into Unknown

sometimes we come across events in news items, in which a rider jumps with his bike over dangerous obstacles. or a paratrooper jumping down from a helicopter into enemy territory, completely unknown to him. Similarly, the spiritual search is an adventure walking into absolutely new terrain. It is observed that some people hesitate to surge ahead. Meditation helps in overcoming this hesitation.                                                                Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Lets Watch Our Breath

Have you tried watching your breath? When we observe our breath, we can see air coming out in a straight line (exhale) from our nose. or we may feel that air is being sucked in through our nostrils (inhale). The little boy says," When I watch my breath, I see it entering and leaving my nose just like my dad's car entering and leaving the garage". It's a tremendous feeling. It relaxes us, and we feel calm.                    Keep Meditating

Traversing Through Chakras is One's Inner Pilgrimage

Why do people take pilgrimages? The most commonly known effect is it reignites our faith and rejuvenates us. In the same way, when we traverse through our chakras it enhances our energy level and improves the quality of each chakra. It gives us immense pleasure and peace. The opening and closing of chakras should be learned from experts in this field. Keep Meditating

Happiness is at your door step

Be A Meditator- Continue meditating

Do I need a Guru to guide me in meditation? This question often bewilders many of us. According to Swami Kriyananda. " If you are looking for greater happiness, peace, less stress and worry. You do not need a guru, you will still benefit from meditation." Meditation is a simple practice available to all, one technique is Ana-Pana-Sati, inhale your breath, exhale your breath and be one with it.                                     But if we are in the wilderness, like the one shown in the infographic, we will need a guide, if we want to find our way home. Taking help from someone, who has walked the path before us is both sensible and efficient. Continue to meditate, where ever you are. A master will appear at the right time.                                                                                              Keep meditating

Meditate in the way that works best for you.

Books are our best friend and guide. Books on meditation deepen our knowledge and understanding. However, there are many books on meditation. Also, there are different ways to do meditation. One can follow whichever way suits them, However, the simplest way to do meditation is Ana-Pana-Sati.  inhale- exhale, and be one with it.  observe the turning point of breath. C ontinue your practice, daily, no matter what the situation is.                                                                                                                                                                                                             Keep Meditating
