Now if thought is also accompanied by action. (Some people are very quick to take action). imagine how contradictory actions would be taking place rapidly. So, when a thought appears, "See the coming of it, and see the going of it". It is only after some time the thought will reach its equilibrium state, like a pendulum. then " See the staying of the thought, become aware, alert, awake of it.
