Be A Meditator- Meditation brings peace with our karma

Karma is the action of body, mind, and speech, which causes suffering or happiness to ourselves and others.  When we meditate regularly we reach a state, when we can eliminate such actions that may cause sufferings to ourselves and others. When we do only those actions which bring happiness to all. this is being at peace with our Karma.                                                                                                                             "When one is at peace with his karma, he sees beauty in all situations."                                                                                                        Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Too much of screen-time, do walking meditation

The little girl says," my online classes have made my computer, my best friend. In addition to my classes, I play computer games too. But too many hours in front of the screen tires my eyes and upsets my parents. My teacher Ronny sir tells us to take a break after every half an hour and has taught us to do walking meditation". Do you know how I do walking meditation? I observe the lifting of my left foot and then the lifting of my right foot. After doing this for some time my eyes are relaxed and my mind is cool.                                                                             Keep Meditating

Take Delight in Your Being, Happy Birthday

Think of the feelings you have on your birthday. Most people feel nice and elated. "Oh! this is my special day. I will do what I love to do." One might go into reveries and think of beautiful events that might have taken place in the past. Objectively birthday is like any other day. The only difference is that one feels delighted. So to say, take delight in your being. Meditate consistently to feel good and joyful every day like your birthday.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Grown ups transmit their vibrations to children

Grown-ups transmit their vibrations to children. A sibling says his baby brother started wailing loudly because his dad was upset over something and he scolded the baby brother for being restless and jumpy. But when the calm sibling took him to his lap and gently whispered to the baby to be quiet and observe the breath.  Although the baby has yet to learn to observe his breath, the calmness of the sibling transmitted into the baby, he became calm and even fell asleep.                                                                                                                                                        Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- To plug better into our breath

Let's hear a little girl and a boy, why they eagerly wait for Sunday to watch 'the Medi- Buddies Show'.  "Aunt Polly and Tinkle introduce us to many new and exciting ways to help us plug better into our breaths and you know very well that when we connect to our breaths we shine like a star'.                                                                                                        Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Meditational breaks for kids a must

Should children meditate? Do you remember the game 'statue' we played in childhood? Can that be an initiation into meditation? Children of all ages need opportunities where they can take time out each day   " unplugged" to relax and focus. A simple act of teaching children how to stop, focus, and, just breathe could be one of the greatest gifts we can give them. The next question is how long they should meditate?            Pediatricians, recommend the following time frame.                                                                                                              Preschool children  - a few minutes per day                                                                                                      Primary school children- 3-10 minutes twice a day.                                                                                          Teens and adults            - 5-45 minutes per day

Be A Meditator- Sometimes We See images During Meditation

The little girl says," sometimes I see beautiful images of flowers, while in meditation." During meditation thoughts, emotions, and sensations arise, but we should let them pass without rejecting or accepting them.                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Let the vibrations of meditation reach the universe

Let the vibrations of meditation reach the universe, like the warmth of the sun reaching people after winter. Soaring high with jubilation like a kite flying in the sky. Enjoy and celebrate.                                                                                                           Keep Meditating                                                                                                                                        Happy Makar Sankranti

Be A Meditation- Noises turn into background music

Sometimes, in certain places, when we start meditating. We become aware of the noise created by a ceiling fan, switching on and off of AC, Fridge, and other gadgets in the house. A honk-honk from the nearby street, the whistle of the wind, rustle of the leaves. As we continue to listen to them. soon we drift into the world where these noises are there, but they don't disturb us. They carry on like background music.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Heart is The Source of All Healing

We spend a lot of time and energy thinking about the pros and cons of a situation. If I do this, the result will be favourable. If I do that, the result may not be favourable and so on. While all this is going on there is something within us, which eliminates negativity and does a healing act. Meditate to become aware of these healing powers of the heart. It is our heart, which sees what is invisible to our eye. Listen to your heart.                                                                                                                                                                                        keep Meditation

Be A Meditator-Admire the quiet and Peace

The little girl says," When I snorkel in the sea. I admire the colourful sea life in quiet and in peace. I develop love and empathy for fish". In the same way in meditation too, when we are calm and in peace, love, happiness, and compassion grow.                                                                                                                                                                               keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- The Biggest Happiness Comes From Unloading Expectations From The Future

Happiness - people are always in search of happiness. Some people can derive happiness from material things. but material things are not everlasting. Then how can we achieve lasting happiness? Most of us are constantly thinking about our future. We need to unload our expectations from the future. By constantly thinking about the future, we deprive ourselves of the present, which is real and can give us real happiness. Meditate to be in the present.                                                                                                                                                                              Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Breath Watching While Relaxing

'Take your pick"  is someone or something we want to have. We come across people picking up healthy food, higher studies, a clean house, fresh air, and natural beauty. but we also come across people who love high calory food, not inclined to learn new skills, just stay I a corner of the house and not bother about fresh air or natural beauty. This is what they have chosen. which choice will help in creating a smooth and peaceful path? By taking the right pick we can have both skill and satisfaction. In the same way, relaxing on the beach can also be turned into meditation. Observe your breath while relaxing.                                                                                                     Keep Meditating
