Be A Meditator- Meditational breaks for kids a must

Should children meditate? Do you remember the game 'statue' we played in childhood? Can that be an initiation into meditation? Children of all ages need opportunities where they can take time out each day   " unplugged" to relax and focus. A simple act of teaching children how to stop, focus, and, just breathe could be one of the greatest gifts we can give them. The next question is how long they should meditate?            Pediatricians, recommend the following time frame.                                                                                                              Preschool children  - a few minutes per day                                                                                                      Primary school children- 3-10 minutes twice a day.                                                                                          Teens and adults            - 5-45 minutes per day                                                                    These Meditational breaks help kids function more effectively and clearly.                                                                                                                     Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- When it seems as though our thoughts are not dissipating

Photo Credit: Jonny Lindner  https://pixabay.com/en/flame-fire-match-beautiful-hot-1363003/ Your becoming aware is actually doing the work. Think of a thought as firewood and awareness as fire. The firewood has a certain amount of strength in it. It has a burning capacity. It will burn out sooner or later. You just have to keep the fire burning, as in be aware, just as you have demonstrated your intention to be aware. If the fire is strong, the wood will burn faster, if the wood is dry, the wood will burn faster. Here fire being strong is a metaphor for your awareness. Similarly, if the thought is light or does not contain an emotional charge or trauma, it burns away faster, but if a thought has weight or is emotionally charged or related to some repeated trauma, it will hold on for longer. You may not be able to overcome it in one session or even in multiple sessions. This does not mean that the fire is not burning or that the wood is not burning away. It is just a dif

Pioneers of Meditation - Brahmarshi Subhash Patri

“You may take any path”, said the advanced beings as Lobsang Rampa thought-through his options. He had been in an accident which had almost killed him and the thing that would bring him back was this choice -  Return to earth and complete his mission facing tremendous odds, or stay here, in the other realm where all was peaceful and safe. Like all pioneers before him and all pioneers after him, Lobsang Rampa took the road less traveled. It was this decision that led to the writing of 18 books on metaphysics which have helped millions of people on earth, including one spiritual adventurer, Brahmarshi Subhash Patri. Our story began in 1947. The ‘Dead Sea Scrolls’(biblical texts 800-1000 years older than the Holy Bible) had been unearthed from the Qumran Caves in Israel. ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’ - the memoirs of a 15-year old girl in second world-war Germany started the healing of millions of Holocaust survivors around the world, and India after centuries of subjugation

Calmness Can Be Achieved Through Meditation During Adverse Conditions

With a lot of people, a panic attack sets in an adverse condition. But you may come across someone around you waiting patiently for things to settle down. Scientifically in this person, the adrenaline hormone has not been released as yet, when a panic attack is about to sets in. Meditate to control the release of adrenaline hormone, this will help in maintaining calmness during an adverse situation.                                                                  Keep Meditating
