  Today's practice is today's contribution. Meditation can be compared to watering a new plant. Each day's meditation is a contribution to the well-being of the body and mind. After having practised meditation for some time, we may start seeing the changes (like new leaves appearing in a plant. After a certain time some trees, which have been groomed well, start bearing fruit).
