Desire is the starting point of all achievements. Also, human behaviour flows from their desires. Desires are good only as long as it does not enslave us. Also, as long as it does not lead us to exploit someone. But a number of times our desires are not met, then we tend to get frustrated, In some cases, it causes immense suffering. Some people may even get violent. That's where meditation helps.
