When a flower doesn't bloom, we fix the flowerbed. Similarly to fix all types of health issues, we need to fix the environment in which we grow. There are many scientifically validated reasons to practice meditation for overall health. Meditation develops compassion and tolerance. In the long term, it wards off depression and stress (mental health) which contributes to a disease-free body (Physical health). Such a mind attracts positive thoughts, leading to better (spiritual health).
